Welcome
My name is Josh Putnam and I'm a PhD student in the Department
of Political Science within the School of Public and International
Affairs at UGA. Broadly, I study American government and political
methodology. More specifically however, my research interests involve
presidential nomination campaigns. I'm currently writing a dissertation
on state decisions to frontload presidential primaries. If
you are interested in the subject as it relates to the 2008 election
please feel free to check out my blog: Frontloading HQ.
There is an
RSS/Atom
subscription feed below and the
blog's archive is in the leftt sidebar as well.
Most of the site's navigation can be done through the links to the left
(Internet
Explorer doesn't seem to like the sidebars on the frontpage for some
reason, so you may need to hit refresh or the green "go" arrow to the
right of the site's address to view it properly.). I've
tried to put together some links that will be
of interest to others as well as myself. Also, feel free to
check out the presidential candidate tracker gadget and the video links
to the right.
If you are in my
classes click
on the "View My Classes Page" link in the left sidebar for course
related
information.
